Leonys Martin, Mitch Moreland and Adrian Beltre also homered for the Rangers, who outscored Seattle in the series by a whopping 23-3 margin. Grimm (1-0) gave up one earned run and six hits and struck out nine in six innings to pick up his second career victory.

Kyle Seager had an RBI double in the first and a solo homer in the ninth to pace the Mariners. Martin also tripled and scored on Ian Kinsler's base hit in the fifth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Seager's run-scoring double in the first snapped Seattle's scoreless streak at 19 innings. ... The Rangers' 12-6 start is their fifth-best after 18 games. ... Both teams continue divisional play Monday. Seattle heads to Houston and Texas visits the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
