Blue Jays 11, Twins 2: Adam Lind homered twice and drove in six runs as visiting Toronto beat Minnesota for the second straight night.

Lind's three-run shot highlighted a five-run first inning, and he added a three-run blast in the ninth for his second multi-homer game of the season. Blue Jays starter J.A. Happ (4-5) held Minnesota to an unearned run on five hits over 5 2/3 innings as Toronto won its ninth straight game in Minnesota while improving to 9-3 over its last 12 overall.

Twins starter Kevin Correia (9-11) was tagged for five runs on seven hits over six innings as the Twins dropped their third in a row.

Lind set the tone just four batters into the game, golfing Correia's pitch just over the center-field wall for his 18th home run. Brett Lawrie followed with a moonshot into the second deck in left field, and J.P. Arencibia capped the onslaught with a run-scoring single.

After the Twins broke their goose-egg on Oswaldo Arcia's RBI single in the fifth, Toronto padded its lead in the seventh. Kevin Pillar hit a one-out single, Jose Reyes followed with a double to right and Munenori Kawasaki drove them both in with a base hit to center.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Blue Jays OF Moises Sierra left the game in the third inning with lower back tightness. Sierra, who was replaced by Rajai Davis, is considered day to day. ... Lawrie finished 3-for-5 with a homer and is hitting .307 in 48 games since the All-Star break. ... Twins C Joe Mauer (concussion) took batting practice with the team for a second straight day. Mauer, who hasn't played since Aug. 19, is hoping to return sometime this season.
