Brewers 5, Phillies 4: Aramis Ramirez delivered a walk-off single in the ninth inning as host Milwaukee evened its four-game series with Philadelphia at a win apiece.

Jean Segura led off the ninth with an infield single to short and moved to third on Ryan Braun’s base hit up the middle. Ramirez followed and sent a line drive down the left-field line off Jeremy Horst (0-2) to plate the winning run.

Francisco Rodriguez (1-0) picked up the win in relief while Segura tripled in a run and scored twice for the Brewers. Erik Kratz hit a two-run homer for the Phillies, who squandered a four-run lead as their five-game winning streak came to an end.

Philadelphia grabbed a 1-0 lead on Jimmy Rollins’ RBI single in the first and made it a 4-0 gap with a three-run rally in the fourth. Delmon Young delivered a run-scoring single in front of Kratz, who belted a 1-1 fastball into the Milwaukee bullpen in left-center.

The Brewers started to get back into it in the fourth, when Yuniesky Betancourt just missed a homer to drive in the first run and Alfredo Figaro pushed across a run with a groundout. Segura’s triple into the corner in right plated another in the seventh, and he was able to score the tying run on an errant throw by second baseman Freddy Galvis.
