Rockies 10, Phillies 5:
Tyler Colvin highlighted a six-run first inning with a two-run homer as host Colorado rolled to a rare victory over Philadelphia.

Wilin Rosario and rookie Nolan Arenado each had three hits and two RBIs, and Tyler Chatwood (4-1) gave up two runs in five innings as the Rockies built a 10-2 lead en route to improving to 7-28 in the last 35 meetings with the Phillies.

Carlos Gonzalez, Michael Cuddyer and Chatwood each had two hits and an RBI to help the Rockies snap a three-game losing streak.

John Mayberry Jr. hit a two-run homer and Ben Revere had three hits and a run-scoring single for Philadelphia, which lost for the sixth time in eight games. Michael Young and Ryan Howard contributed two hits and an RBI apiece.

Colorado hit for the cycle in the span of four batters in the first inning against Jonathan Pettibone (3-3), who was pounded for seven runs in three innings. Gonzalez doubled home a run and scored on Cuddyer's single before Rosario tripled and Colvin homered to make it 5-0.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Gonzalez prevented a potential big first inning by the Phillies, nailing Young at home plate with a two-hop throw from just inside the 347-foot sign in the left-field corner. ... Revere extending his hitting streak to six games, going 13-for-28 in that span. ... Rockies CF Dexter Fowler missed his second straight game with a swollen knuckle on his right hand.
