Indians 11, Rangers 8 (11): Ryan Raburn belted a walk-off three-run homer in the 11th inning as host Cleveland rebounded after squandering a six-run lead to defeat struggling Texas.
After Asdrubal Cabrera and Carlos Santana singled to lead off the 11th inning, Raburn deposited a 2-1 slider from Jason Frasor (0-2) over the wall in left field for his 11th homer.
Nick Swisher belted a solo homer and Michael Bourn and Drew Stubbs both ripped two-run singles in the fourth inning. Cabrera, Mike Aviles and Michael Brantley each collected three hits - with the latter two both scoring twice for the Indians, who have recorded 21 runs en route to winning their last two contests.
Ian Kinsler forged an 8-8 tie with a two-run single in the eighth inning. Kinsler finished with four RBIs and Nelson Cruz launched his 24th homer for the Rangers, who have dropped 10 of their last 13 games.
Raburn's blast made a winner of Bryan Shaw (1-2), who struck out one and allowed one hit in one inning. The win kept the Indians three games back of first-place Detroit in the AL Central.
GAME NOTEBOOK: After belting his first career grand slam in Cleveland's 10-1 triumph over Seattle on Wednesday, Bourn gave the Indians a 3-0 lead by driving in Aviles with an RBI groundout. Bourn followed Stubbs' two-run single with one of his own, drilling a 3-1 fastball from LHP Martin Perez back up the middle to give the Indians a 7-1 lead. ... Kinsler's RBI single in the fifth snapped Cleveland RHP Corey Kluber's string of 16 2/3 consecutive innings without an earned run. ... Perez struggled in his third straight start, allowing seven runs on eight hits in three innings.
