Indians 10, Phillies 4: Jason Kipnis belted a three-run home run and scored three times as visiting Cleveland pounded Philadelphia to salvage a split of its two-game interleague series.

Kipnis added a pair of doubles while Nick Swisher and Mike Aviles also homered for the Indians, who outscored the Phillies 32-12 to take three of four in the season series. Corey Kluber (3-2) rebounded from his worst outing of the season to allow three runs and six hits over six frames.

Jimmy Rollins accounted for most of Philadelphia’s offense with an RBI single and a two-run double, matching a season high with three RBIs. Cole Hamels (1-6) was tagged for five runs and six hits over five innings, snapping a six-start streak in which he had allowed three runs or fewer.

Mark Reynolds opened the scoring in the third inning with a one-hop, two-run double that bounced off the wall in left – his first hit in four games. Rollins halved the deficit with his single in the third, but Aviles turned on Hamels’ first-pitch fastball in the next inning to get the run back.

Kipnis doubled to begin the fifth and scored for the second time on Swisher’s fly ball that stayed just inside the foul pole. Rollins trimmed the gap to 5-3 with his second run-scoring hit in the bottom half, but Asdrubal Cabrera delivered a two-run single in the sixth and Kipnis capped his three-hit effort with his homer in the eighth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hamels’ six losses through nine outings match the number he posted in 31 starts last season. … The Indians, who collected their first-ever win at Citizens Bank Park, finished their 14-game, 13-day stretch at 10-4. … The Phillies agreed to a minor-league contract with RHP Carlos Zambrano on Wednesday in an effort to recover from injuries to Roy Halladay (shoulder) and John Lannan (knee). The three-time All-Star, who is 132-91 with a 3.66 ERA in 12 seasons with the Chicago Cubs and Miami Marlins, will report to Clearwater, Fla., later this week for extended spring training.
