Dodgers 6, Cubs 4: Hanley Ramirez and Jerry Hairston Jr. each had two RBIs and Yasiel Puig homered as Los Angeles rallied for its 11th consecutive road win - the longest streak for the franchise since the Brooklyn Dodgers also won 11 straight away from home in 1955.
Ricky Nolasco (7-9) allowed three runs - all on solo homers - over five innings to pick up his second win since he was traded from Miami to Los Angeles. Kenley Jansen struck out the side in the ninth for his 15th save as the Dodgers increased their National League West lead to 3 1/2 games over Arizona.
Junior Lake and Anthony Rizzo each homered twice for the Cubs, who have dropped four of five. The duo blasted consecutive fastballs from Nolasco for solo shots in the first, while Lake went deep again in the third and Rizzo connected again in the eighth.
Cubs left-hander Chris Rusin (1-1) took a 3-2 lead into the sixth but couldn't record another out and was charged with four runs on seven hits after Hairston delivered a go-ahead two-run single as a pinch hitter against Michael Bowden. Adrian Gonzalez added an RBI single later in the inning for a 5-3 advantage.
After Ramirez tied it at 2 with a two-run double into the left-field corner in the third, Lake connected again in the bottom of the inning, driving a 1-1 slider into the seats in left-center for his first career multi-homer game and making it 3-2. Rizzo's second blast pulled Chicago within 5-4, but Puig launched his 11th of the season in the ninth to regain a two-run margin.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Dodgers 2B Mark Ellis went 1-for-3 to extend his hitting streak to 12 games, the longest active streak in the National League. … The Cubs have 72 home runs at home, the most in the National League. … Chicago announced the signing of 16-year-old Dominican OF Eloy Jimenez, who is ranked as the top international prospect by Baseball America and MLB.com.
