Blue Jays 3, White Sox 1: R.A. Dickey threw six shutout innings before leaving with neck and back tightness as host Toronto earned a split of its four-game series with Chicago.

Dickey (2-2) was removed as a precaution after just 64 pitches, limiting the White Sox to two hits while striking out seven. Two relievers bridged the gap to Casey Janssen, who worked a perfect ninth inning for his fifth save.

Rajai Davis had a pair of hits, an RBI and two stolen bases to pace the Jays, who did all of their damage against Chicago starter Chris Sale (1-2). The hard-throwing lefty was charged with three runs (two earned) on four hits while striking out six for the White Sox, who finished 3-7 on their 10-game road trip.

Toronto went ahead for good in the first, as Davis led off with a single, stole second and third and came around to score on an Edwin Encarnacion single to shallow left field. Davis was in on the scoring again in the fifth, doubling home Munenori Kawasaki to make it 3-0 after an Adam Dunn error allowed Emilio Bonifacio to score one batter earlier.

With Dickey and his knuckleball out of the picture, Chicago finally responded in the eighth. Alexei Ramirez hit a one-out single and scored on Tyler Flowers' double to right-center two batters later.
