Blue Jays 4, Red Sox 3 (10):
Brett Lawrie hit a walk-off single in the 10th inning as host Toronto evened its series with Boston at a game apiece.

After squandering a 3-1 lead on Mike Napoli's two-out, two-run homer in the ninth, the Blue Jays rallied for the win an inning later. Rajai Davis led off with a double to center field, advanced on Jose Bautista's groundout and scored on Lawrie's single past a diving Stephen Drew.

Brad Lincoln (1-1) worked 1 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the win. Brandon Workman (3-2) absorbed the loss in relief, cruising through his first 2 2/3 innings before running into trouble in the 10th.

Davis opened the scoring in the third inning on a bizarre play. After drilling a liner off Boston pitcher Jon Lester's leg, Davis advanced on Lester's wild flip to first base and came around to score after Shane Victorino's throw to third sailed wide of the base.

Toronto doubled its lead in the fourth after Mark DeRosa flared a run-scoring double that bounced just inside the right-field line, but Boston responded in the sixth on David Ortiz's line-drive blast into the seats in right-center. J.P. Arencibia's RBI double restored the two-run advantage in the bottom half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto starter Esmil Rogers allowed a run on five hits while fanning six over six innings. Lester allowed three runs - two earned - on six hits over 6 1/3 innings. ... Ortiz's 48 homers against Toronto are the most he has hit against any team. ... Toronto dealt INF Emilio Bonifacio to Kansas City earlier Wednesday for a player to be named or cash considerations. Bonifacio, acquired in the offseason mega-trade with Miami, hit .218 with three homers, 20 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 262 at-bats with the Blue Jays.
