Martin Prado ripped a two-run triple and Wade Miley added a two-run double to highlight a six-run third inning. Paul Goldschmidt and Miguel Montero also drove in a run apiece for the Diamondbacks.

J.P. Howell (3-1) was credited with the victory after recording two outs in the seventh inning. Brian Wilson worked a spotless eighth and Kenley Jansen struck out a pair in the ninth for his 26th save.
