Orioles 5, Giants 2 (10): Chris Davis hit a two-run double in the 10th inning and scored on Matt Wieters' single as visiting Baltimore posted its third straight victory.

J.J. Hardy belted a solo homer and Adam Jones recorded two hits and an RBI for the Orioles, who remained 1 1/2 games behind in the race for the second American League wild-card spot. Baltimore also pulled within 4 1/2 of first-place Boston in the AL East.

Jim Johnson (3-7) cost Chris Tillman his fifth consecutive win and 12th in 13 decisions, allowing a game-tying RBI double by Hunter Pence in the ninth for his seventh blown save in 46 opportunities. But Davis made Giants manager Bruce Bochy pay for his decision to intentionally walk Jones with two outs in the 10th with his tiebreaking double off Javier Lopez (1-2).

Wieters followed with an RBI single and Tommy Hunter worked a perfect bottom of the 10th for his third save.

Brandon Belt hit a solo home run in the sixth inning and singled and scored in the ninth for the Giants, who have lost three of four overall and 18 of 25 at home.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Tillman worked eight superb innings, allowing one run and four hits with one walk and nine strikeouts. ... San Francisco's Ryan Vogelsong yielded two runs and six hits over six frames in his first start since breaking his right pinkie on May 20. ... Hardy's homer was his 20th of the season, marking the fifth time in his career he has reached the plateau.
