Blue Jays 7, Orioles 3
: Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run homer and J.P. Arencibia had a go-ahead two-run single in the sixth inning as visiting Toronto topped Baltimore.

The Blue Jays' bullpen threw five scoreless innings in relief of starter Todd Redmond, who gave up three runs in four frames. Aaron Loup (4-3) got the win with 1 1/3 innings of work and Casey Janssen struck out two with runners on the corners in the ninth to pick up his 18th save.

The Orioles got on the board with Chris Davis' major league-leading 36th home run in the second and took a 3-2 lead in the fourth on Adam Jones' homer and Brian Roberts' RBI double.

Hammel got the first two outs of the sixth before three straight singles loaded the bases for Arencibia, who smoked a base hit to left to plate the tying and go-ahead runs. Toronto increased its advantage with three runs in the seventh, highlighted by an RBI double by Jose Bautista.

Brett Cecil struck out Nate McLouth with a runner on third to end the seventh and fanned Davis with two on in the eighth before Steve Delabar came on to retire J.J. Hardy and finish the threat. Delabar let two reach in the ninth before Janssen closed the door on the Orioles, who were 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position.
