Orioles 10, Blue Jays 6: J.J. Hardy belted a three-run homer while Nick Markakis added three hits and three RBIs as visiting Baltimore evened its series with Toronto.

Chris Davis hit his league-best 16th homer while Manny Machado finished 3-for-6 as the Orioles pounded out 16 hits against a quartet of Blue Jays pitchers. Chris Tillman (4-2) made the offensive outburst stand despite surrendering three runs on 10 hits over five shaky innings.

Toronto counterpart Sean Nolin (0-1) was humbled in his major-league debut, lasting just 1 1/3 innings while allowing six runs on seven hits.

The Orioles jumped all over Nolin, opening the game with back-to-back singles and vaulting in front on Hardy's blast into the Blue Jays' bullpen. After Melky Cabrera led off the bottom half of the inning with a shot over the wall in right-center, Baltimore stretched the lead to 6-1 in the second on Markakis' bases-clearing double.

Toronto chipped away in the bottom half on Brett Lawrie's solo shot and Emilio Bonifacio's run-scoring single, but Davis responded in the third with a towering drive into the second deck and Danny Valencia added a two-run blast. Adam Jones contributed to the onslaught with a solo shot in the sixth, and the Blue Jays wouldn't threaten thereafter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nolin was the first Toronto pitcher to surrender at least six runs in his first career major-league start since Jeff Ware in 1995. ... Davis has homered in three straight games and four of his last five. ... Lawrie was ejected at the end of the third inning after slamming his helmet, flipping his bat and hurling his batting gloves following a called third strike. Manager John Gibbons was also tossed for coming to Lawrie's defense.
