Rangers 5, Giants 0: Alexi Ogando combined with three relievers on a three-hit shutout as visiting Texas handed Tim Lincecum his fifth consecutive loss in the rubber game of their three-game interleague series.

Making his first start of the season, Ogando struck out two over three hitless innings before leaving with a strained right groin suffered while beating out a bunt for a single in the top of the fourth. Robbie Ross (6-0), who tossed four scoreless frames, kept San Francisco without a hit until Aubrey Huff doubled with one out in the sixth.

Mike Adams yielded two hits in the eighth before Joe Nathan worked a perfect ninth as Texas posted its second shutout in three games.

Ian Kinsler and Josh Hamilton drove in two runs apiece for the Rangers, who completed a 4-6 road trip.

Texas got on the board in the third when Elvis Andrus tripled and scored on Adrian Beltre's two-out double. Kinsler made it 3-0 in the fourth with a two-run double and Hamilton capped the scoring with one of his own two innings later.

Lincecum (2-7) surrendered five runs and nine hits over 5 2/3 innings. The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner, who walked four and struck out five, fell to 0-5 over his last eight starts.

Angel Pagan and Nate Schierholtz had singles for the Giants, who lost for just the third time in 10 contests.
