Astros 8, Brewers 3: Bud Norris struck out a season-high nine to win his third straight start as host Houston snapped a four-game losing streak.

Carlos Lee went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs as the Astros won for only the third time in 10 games on the strength of a rare offensive outburst.

Norris (4-1) allowed four hits and retired 11 straight batters - six via strikeout - after surrendering a solo home run to Corey Hart in the fourth inning.

Jed Lowrie added an RBI double and Justin Maxwell and Jordan Schafer had run-scoring singles for Houston, which had tallied only 16 runs in its previous nine games.

Brewers starter Randy Wolf (2-4) was battered for seven runs - six earned - on seven hits in four innings. He had allowed only seven runs in his previous seven starts against the Astros.

Houston took a 2-0 lead against Wolf in the second when Lowrie doubled home Lee and scored on Maxwell's single. Lee's two-run single and an error by Hart made it 5-0 after three innings.

Jonathan Lucroy had a pinch-hit, two-run triple in the ninth for Milwaukee.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Lee has four straight multi-hit games and is batting .524 (11-for-21) with four RBIs during a five-game hitting streak. Hart is 5-for-12 with a pair of home runs against Norris, who has allowed only two runs and 10 hits in his last three starts. ... The Astros amassed their highest run total since scoring eight against St. Louis on May 5. They had not scored more than three runs in a game in the past nine contests.
