Johnny Cueto allowed three hits over eight innings, helping Cincinnati to a third straight win at Wrigley Field after dropping the series opener.

Cueto (15-6) became the second 15-game winner in the National League, had five 1-2-3 innings and only allowed one Chicago runner to advance past second base. Aroldis Chapman extended his run of scoreless innings to 21 2/3, a streak that dates back to June 24, by working around a leadoff hit in the ninth for his 28th save.

Jay Bruce, who had been given the last two days off after a prolonged slump, gave Cueto all the offense he would need with a two-run homer in the fifth inning against Brooks Raley (0-2). Ryan Ludwick added a solo shot an inning later.

Raley went six innings for the Cubs, who have lost 11 of their last 12 games. The rookie gave up three runs on five hits and a walk in his second career start.

Todd Frazier had two of Cincinnati's six hits and went 9-for-15 during the four-game series.

Cueto, who threw 113 pitches Sunday, struck out three and walked two.

GAME NOTEBOOK: National League hitters are 18-for-173 (.104) against Chapman, who has 42 strikeouts and two walks since July 1. ... Darwin Barney's leadoff single in the ninth was only the ninth hit Chapman has allowed during his scoreless streak ... The Cubs, who have scored fewer runs than any team in the major leagues, have been shut out 11 times in 2012.
