Indians 10, Reds 9:
Lonnie Chisenhall had three hits - including one of his team's three home runs - and three RBIs as Cleveland put up double-digit runs for the first time in more than two months.

Chisenhall was a double shy of the cycle and Shin-Soo Choo and Casey Kotchman also went deep for the Indians, who improved to 5-0 at home against the Reds since May 22, 2010.

The Indians had scored 10 or more runs only twice this season - in consecutive games April 14-15 at Kansas City.

Joey Votto and Jay Bruce homered for the Reds, who saw their six-game winning streak come to an end.

After being activated from the disabled list before the game, Reds third baseman Scott Rolen had RBI singles in each of his first two plate appearances.

Neither starter had a good night. Indians right-hander Derek Lowe allowed seven runs and 11 hits over five innings and Reds hurler Mat Latos gave up seven runs on eight hits - including three homers - in four innings.

The Indians' bullpen was solid, though, holding the Reds to one run and two hits over the final four innings. Joe Smith (5-1) allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings for the win. Chris Perez allowed a run in the ninth before striking out Ryan Ludwick to strand the tying run at first for his 22nd save.

Sam LeCure (2-2) took the loss, allowing the go-ahead runs to score on Kotchman's RBI groundout and Chisenhall's RBI single in the sixth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cleveland's eight extra-base hits - four doubles, a triple and three homers - are a season high. … Three of Choo's six home runs this season have come in four games against Cincinnati. He has seven homers in 22 career games against the Reds. … Bruce has homered in three of his last four games and has hit three of Cincinnati's last five homers. … Reds catcher Ryan Hanigan has thrown out five of the last six baserunners attempting to steal against him.
