White Sox 4, Mariners 3 (7): Tyler Flowers hit a two-run homer during a seventh-inning rainstorm, lifting host Chicago to a three-game sweep of Seattle.

The White Sox extended their winning streak to six, maintaining their one-game lead over Detroit in the AL Central race. The game was called after a rain delay of approximately two hours in the bottom of the seventh, starting two hitters after Flowers' homer.

Chicago starter Gavin Floyd left after two innings with right elbow discomfort. Floyd allowed one run on three hits. Reliever Nate Jones (7-0) earned the victory with a scoreless seventh inning.

Jordan Danks drew a two-out walk from Seattle starter Kevin Millwood (4-11). Flowers followed with his sixth homer of the season, blasting a 0-1 pitch over the center-field wall.

Seattle took a 3-2 lead on Casper Wells’ eighth homer of the season - a two-run shot - with one out in the fifth. The Mariners have lost three in a row after winning eight straight.

Ray Olmedo finished with two hits for Chicago.
