Pirates 2, Phillies 1: Alex Presley’s infield single in the bottom of the 10th inning plated Michael McKenry with the decisive run, lifting Pittsburgh to a comeback win over Philadelphia.

Rod Barajas led off the final frame with a double to center field off Joe Blanton (0-1), and pinch runner McKenry moved to third on a sacrifice by Clint Barmes. With two out, Presley knocked a 2-2 pitch to shortstop, beating it out to end the game.

Juan Cruz (1-0), the fifth Pirates pitcher, worked around two hits in the top of the 10th to earn the victory.

Philadelphia took the lead in the first inning on an infield single by Hunter Pence, but the Pirates drew even in the sixth when pinch hitter Yamaico Navarro walked, moved to second on a Jose Tabata single, took third on a fielder’s choice and scored on a wild pitch by Phillies starter Cliff Lee.

Lee exited after six innings, having given up just two hits and two walks while striking out four. Pittsburgh starter Jeff Karstens allowed five hits and a walk over his six innings, striking out two.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The wild pitch by Lee was his first since Aug. 11, 2010, when he was pitching for Texas. ... Karstens remains without a decision in six career appearances (four starts) against the Phillies. ... Pittsburgh has won eight of its last 12 home games against Philadelphia.
