Marlins 9, Phillies 2: Greg Dobbs burned his former team by belting a solo homer and Mark Buehrle tossed seven solid innings to record his 12th consecutive season with double-digit wins as host Miami salvaged the series finale.

Dobbs collected three hits - all on the first pitch - including an RBI single in the fourth to snap Miami's franchise-worst scoreless innings streak at 30. Bryan Petersen and Austin Kearns broke open the close contest by driving in a pair of runs to highlight a six-run eighth inning as the Marlins ended a three-game losing skid.

After Ty Wigginton tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the sixth, Dobbs answered with two outs in the bottom of the frame. The former Phillie deposited a fastball from Roy Halladay (6-7) into the bullpen in right field for his fourth homer - and second in six games.

Buehrle (10-11) snapped a three-game losing skid after allowing two runs on five hits while striking out three. The veteran hurler tied New York Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia for the longest streak of double-digit wins among active pitchers.

Halladay saw his modest two-game winning streak come to an end after permitting three runs while striking out seven in as many innings.

Wigginton belted a solo homer for the Phillies, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.
