Ryan Vogelsong (3-2) won his third straight decision, allowing three run in seven innings, to give the Giants their sixth win in eight games.

Cabrera, who leads the major leagues in hits with 67, went 3-for-5 with a pair of two-run doubles. He extended his hitting streak to eight games as San Francisco amassed its highest run total of the season.

Pagan ignited a fourth-run sixth with a two-run double as the Giants broke a 1-1 deadlock before turning the game into a rout with three more runs in the seven and four in the eighth inning.

Marlins starter Anibal Sanchez (2-3) lost his third straight start, allowing a season-high five runs on seven hits and striking out seven in 5 1/3 innings.

Giancarlo Stanton hit his 10th homer and drove in three runs and Omar Infante had four hits for Miami, which lost for only the seventh time in 23 games in May.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pagan has hit safely in 33 of his last 35 games. ... Miami's Emilio Bonifacio, who leads the majors with 20 stolen bases, will undergo surgery on his left thumb Friday. He is expected to be out four to six weeks. ... The Marlins also placed OF Austin Kearns (hamstring) on the 15-day disabled list Thursday. ... The Giants activated 2B Ryan Theriot from the 15-day DL. Theriot is off to a wretched start, batting .179 with no homers and two RBIs in 20 games. ... Marlins reliever Juan Carlos Oviedo (formerly Leo Nunez) received a government waiver that will allow him to apply for a visa in the Dominican Republic in the hopes of rejoining the team.
