Rockies 8, Marlins 4:
Troy Tulowitzki snapped a tie with a three-run homer in the fifth inning as visiting Colorado erased a three-run deficit to end a season-high six-game losing streak.

Tulowitzki added a run-scoring double in the fourth and finished with four RBIs as the Rockies, who were off to their worst start since 1995, improved to 5-17 in May. Carlos Gonzalez added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored and Marco Scutaro had two hits and scored three times.

Alex White (1-3) snapped a six-game losing streak after yielding four runs and eight hits in six innings.

Carlos Zambrano (2-3) allowed seven runs and five hits in five innings and saw his ERA rise from 1.96 to 2.85 as Miami fell to 16-6 in May.

After Greg Dobbs' RBI single in the first inning gave Miami a 1-0 lead, Zambrano and Jose Reyes produced run-scoring singles in the second to make it 3-0.

Tulowitzki's double ignited a three-run fourth, which also included sacrifice flies by Jason Giambi and Michael Cuddyer.

Reyes' run-scoring infield hit put Miami back on top 4-3 in the bottom half before Carlos Gonzalez's RBI single preceded Tulowitzki's blast.

Gonzalez's RBI triple with two outs in the seventh made it 8-4.
