Mets 5, Marlins 1: David Wright hit a two-run homer and R.A. Dickey pitched seven solid innings to lead host New York over Miami.

Wright’s sixth-inning blast made him the franchise’s all-time leader in career RBIs with 735, breaking a tie with Darryl Strawberry, as the Mets beat Miami for the second straight night.

The Marlins have lost four consecutive games.

Dickey (3-1) allowed one run and three hits over seven innings, with Omar Infante’s homer representing the lone blemish. Dickey struck out seven and walked one.

Mark Buehrle (1-3) was the hard-luck loser for Miami. Buehrle allowed two runs and five hits in seven innings. He struck out four and walked one.

The Marlins put two runners on in the ninth before Manny Acosta induced Gaby Sanchez to hit into a game-ending double play.

Infante ripped a 1-0 pitch from Dickey off the facing of the second deck in left field for his fifth homer of the season.

Wright hit his homer in the sixth to give the Mets a 2-1 lead, and New York added three runs in the eight. Lucas Duda delivered a run-scoring single and Mike Baxter drilled a two-run double.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Former Mets All-Star Jose Reyes had an eighth-inning single and is 1-for-8 in the series … Infante is 12-for-25 in his career against Dickey … New York first baseman Ike Davis was hitless in four at-bats and is just 1-for-20 over his last six games … Miami has just two runs and nine hits in the series.
