Braves 6, Phillies 1: Ben Sheets won for the fourth time in five starts and Freddie Freeman doubled home two runs as visiting Atlanta beat Philadelphia for the seventh consecutive time.

The Braves, winners of 21 of their past 28, got another strong outing from Sheets (4-1). The right-hander, who hadn’t pitched in the majors since 2010 until signing with the Braves last month, allowed seven hits and one run in 7 1/3 innings.

Freeman ripped a two-out double into the right-field corner in the third, scoring Michael Bourn and Martin Prado to put Atlanta ahead 2-0. Philadelphia starter Vance Worley (6-7) uncorked a wild pitch to Brian McCann, scoring Freeman and pushing the lead to 3-0.

Worley lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing six hits and four runs with three walks and two strikeouts. He allowed Bourn’s RBI single in the fourth, scoring Paul Janish.

John Mayberry Jr. put the Phillies on the scoreboard leading off the fourth, hitting his ninth homer of the season into the seats in left. Atlanta added an insurance run in the seventh on McCann's RBI single and Heyward added his 18th homer, a long solo shot deep into the right-field seats in the ninth..

McCann, Heyward and Dan Uggla each finished with two hits for the Braves.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sheets did not strike out a batter and walked one. He lowered his ERA to 1.41 and has allowed just five runs in 32 innings. … Atlanta has outscored Philadelphia 35-11 during its seven consecutive victories against the Phillies. … Heyward tied his career high in homers (set in 2010) and tied McCann for the team lead. ... The announced attendance at Citizens Bank Park of 41,665 ended Philadelphia's consecutive sellout streak at 257. The last non-sellout came July 6, 2009, against Cincinnati.
