Moises Sierra had three hits and doubled home an insurance run in the 11th and David Cooper hit a game-tying homer in the ninth inning as the Blue Jays rebounded from Friday's 15-inning loss.

Jesse Chavez (1-1), called up from the minors after Friday's game, pitched a scoreless inning for the win and Darren Oliver retired the side in order in the 11th for his second save.

Jerry Blevins (4-1) allowed two runs in four innings to take the loss for Oakland, which was forced to go to its bullpen in the second inning after starter A.J. Griffin exited with tightness in his right shoulder.

Athletics closer Ryan Cook served up a ninth-inning homer for the second consecutive game to suffer his fourth blown save in his last six appearances.

Blue Jays left-hander Ricky Romero, who had lost his last seven starts, turned in one of his best performances of the year, allowing one run on three hits in seven innings. Toronto has scored four runs in Romero's last six outings and been shut out four times.

Brandon Inge went 0-for-5 and had his 13-game hitting streak snapped for Oakland, which leads the majors with 13 walk-off victories.
