Blue Jays 2, Twins 1: Jose Bautista hit his third home run in two days as visiting Toronto won for the third time in four games.

The Blue Jays slugger, who homered twice Friday, connected for a solo shot off Minnesota starter P.J. Walters (0-1) with two outs in the sixth, giving Toronto a 2-1 advantage. The homer was originally ruled a double, but was overturned by crew chief Tim Tschida after video review.

Bautista, who hit 43 homers last season and 54 in 2010, has eight homers on the season. He finished 2-for-4, raising his average to .197.

The Twins lost for the ninth time in their past 12 games, dropping to a major-league worst 9-24.

Minnesota took a 1-0 lead in the fourth. Trevor Plouffe drew a bases-loaded walk from Toronto starter Drew Hutchison (2-1), scoring Brian Dozier.

The Blue Jays tied the game in the fifth. Adam Lind’s single to center scored Colby Rasmus to even the score at 1-1.

Hutchison allowed just three hits in six innings, walking four and striking out four.

Toronto reliever Luis Perez struck out Alexi Casilla with the tying run on second to end the eighth. Casey Janssen worked the ninth for his second save.

Walters, making his season debut, worked six innings. He gave up six hits with no walks and five strikeouts.
