Angels 13, Orioles 1: Rookie Mike Trout had four hits to raise his American League-best batting average to .344, and Jered Weaver pitched 6 2/3 effective innings as Los Angeles won for the 13th time in its last 14 road games.

Kendrys Morales had three hits and four RBIs, and Torii Hunter homered among his three hits and scored four runs as the Angels won for the 24th time in their last 32 games. Trout, who scored three runs, also leaped high above the center field wall to rob J.J. Hardy of a home run in the first inning.

Weaver (8-1) allowed one run and six hits and struck out six to defeat Baltimore for the second time this season.

The Orioles, who committed three errors, have lost six of their last eight games and have scored only 12 runs during that span.

Los Angeles erupted for six runs and sent 11 men to the plate in the fourth inning to chase Jason Hammel (8-3) and hand him his first home loss. Hammel was roughed up for eight runs and eight hits in 3 1/3 innings.

Howard Kendrick, Trout, Hunter, Morales and Alberto Callaspo all had RBI singles in the inning.

The Angels went ahead 3-1 in the third when Morales delivered a two-out, two-run single after Hammel retired the first two batters in the inning before allowing a single to Trout and walking two.

Hunter’s homer gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead in the first inning. It was only the second homer allowed by Hammel at Camden Yards, where he was 4-0 with a 2.03 ERA in six home starts prior to Wednesday.

The Orioles tied it 1-1 in the bottom half on Adam Jones’ two-out double.
