Orioles 4, Royals 3 (15)
: Adam Jones belted a solo homer in the top of the 15th inning as Baltimore rallied to snap Kansas City's four-game winning streak.

After failing to reach base in his previous six at-bats, Jones crushed an offspeed offering from Nate Adcock (0-1) into the empty seats in left field. The homer was Jones' second in as many days and team-leading 12th of the season.

Jones' heroics came six innings after the Orioles overcame a two-run deficit in the ninth to tie the game. Wilson Betemit launched a solo homer off closer Jonathan Broxton and J.J. Hardy tied the game at 3-3 with a two-out RBI single.

Kevin Gregg (1-1) struck out a pair in two scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win. Jim Johnson retired the side in the 15th to convert his 21st consecutive save opportunity dating back to last season. He has 13 saves this season.

Nick Markakis had an RBI double and Hardy had three hits for the Orioles, who recorded their 12th road victory of the campaign. Last season, Baltimore notched road win No. 12 on June 16.

Humberto Quintero ripped a two-run single and Alex Gordon had an RBI double for the Royals, who fell to 4-14 at home this season.
