Corey Hart hit his first three home runs of the season and Yovani Gallardo pitched seven strong innings, leading the Milwaukee Brewers to an 11-3 win over the Washington Nationals on Monday at Miller Park.

Prince Fielder added his 11th home run and Ryan Braun extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a ground-rule double in the fifth for the Brewers, who won their seventh consecutive home game and 11th win in 14 games overall. Milwaukee is a NL-best 17-6 at home.

Hart blasted home runs in the first, fifth and eighth, becoming the first Brewers player to hit three home runs in a game since Geoff Jenkins in 2003. He was 3-for-4 with seven RBIs, tying a franchise record.

Gallardo (6-2) won his fourth consecutive start, striking out nine and allowing just one run on five hits over seven innings. He has a 1.67 ERA over his past four starts.

The lone run against Gallardo came on Michael Morse's third home run. Washington has scored seven runs in its past five losses.

Nationals starter Tom Gorzelanny (2-4) allowed six runs on eight hits over five innings to take the loss for Washington, which has lost eight of 11.

The Brewers scored five runs in the eighth against Drew Storen, snapping his streak of scoreless innings at 21. Storen had not allowed a run since April 5 and hadn't given up an earned run since April 2.
