Luke Hughes hit a three-run homer and the host Minnesota Twins snapped their six-game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.

Matt Capps worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 12th save in relief of Brian Duensing (5-7), who allowed four runs over five innings.

Capps has allowed only one earned run in nine appearances this month.

One game after routing the Twins 15-0 on Monday with a season-high 25 hits, the Dodgers had seven, including Aaron Miles' first home run since Sept. 16, 2008.
