Andrew McCutchen and Lyle Overbay collected three hits apiece and Charlie Morton secured his career-best sixth win of the season as the Pittsburgh Pirates posted a 6-3 home victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday.

Shortstop Jimmy Rollins left the contest with a bruised right knee for Philadelphia, which has lost four in a row for the second time in 2011. The 2007 National League MVP fouled a ball off his knee during his first at-bat before being replaced by Wilson Valdez in the third inning.

Brandon Wood belted his first home run of the season and McCutchen drove in a pair for Pittsburgh, which has won four of its last five games.

Morton (6-2) continued to flip the script from last year's woeful 2-12 effort. He tossed seven strong innings, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out five.

Jose Veras retired the side in order in the eighth inning and Joel Hanrahan yielded an RBI single to Placido Polanco before ending the game with the bases loaded.

Kyle Kendrick (3-4) permitted four runs on eight hits in five innings to fall to 4-1 lifetime against the Pirates.
