The Phillies had averaged two runs during their eight-game losing streak before breaking out Sunday.

Jason Pridie had a single, double and triple for the Mets, and Ronny Paulino added a two-run homer.

New York starter Mike Pelfrey (7-13) gave up nine hits and five runs in three innings. The 13 losses are the most in Pelfrey’s career.
