Detroit starter Rick Porcello won his fourth straight game, and the visiting Tigers scored twice on wild pitches to defeat the Minnesota Twins 5-2 Sunday.

Victor Martinez contributed three of Detroit's nine hits, while Porcello (10-6) limited the Twins to five hits and two runs over six innings.

Delmon Young had a pair of hits and an RBI for Minnesota, which has lost 12 of its last 13 to the Tigers overall – eight of nine in 2011.

The Tigers took the lead in the second when Ryan Raburn scored on a wild pitch. RBI singles from Jhonny Peralta and Wilson Betemit keyed a three-run third for a 4-0 advantage.

Young’s RBI double highlighted a two-run fourth as the Twins pulled to within 4-2. But Detroit extended its lead in the sixth when reliever Anthony Swarzak’s wild pitch allowed Austin Jackson to score.

Jose Valverde pitched the ninth for his 26th save in 26 tries. The Tigers’ relievers allowed two hits in three innings.

Twins starter Francisco Liriano (6-8) allowed four runs on six hits over 2 1/3 innings. Liriano had won three of his previous four decisions.
