Carlos Santana homered for the second straight game to spark a six-run second inning and lead the visiting Cleveland Indians to a 10-4 win over the Minnesota Twins on Saturday.

Asdrubal Cabrera, who came into the game in an 0-for-20 slump, had four hits in five at-bats.

Jeanmar Gomez (4-2) won his fourth straight start, but left the game after 6 2/3 innings with a leg injury.

The Indians, who were eliminated from the American League Central race on Friday, sent 10 men to the plate in the second. The inning consisted of five hits and two walks, with Santana's two-run homer and Jason Kipnis' two-run triple highlighting the frame.

Santana tied Victor Martinez for the club record for home runs by a switch-hitter with 25.

Chris Parmelee hit a two-run homer in the eighth for Minnesota, which has lost seven in a row.

Anthony Swarzak (3-7) allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings. Francisco Liriano pitched two scoreless innings in his first appearance since Aug. 25. He was on the disabled list with a sore left shoulder and activated Friday.
