Brett Lawrie snapped a tie with a two-run homer in the eighth inning as the Toronto Blue Jays claimed two of three from the Baltimore Orioles with an 8-6 road triumph on Thursday afternoon.

Yunel Escobar collected four hits and drove in a pair of runs and Kelly Johnson and Lawrie added three hits apiece for Toronto, which defeated Baltimore for the 25th time in 33 games over the last two seasons.

With the game tied 6-6, Johnson led off the eighth with a walk before Lawrie deposited an offering from Willie Eyre (1-1) into the left field seats for his seventh homer of the season and second in three games.

Baltimore's Vladimir Guerrero drove in four runs and had three hits - including the front end of back-to-back homers with Matt Wieters.

Shawn Camp (2-3) pitched two-thirds of an inning to finish off the seventh and pick up the win. Jon Rauch returned after being sidelined with an appendectomy to toss a scoreless frame before Frank Francisco retired the side in the ninth for his 12th save of the season.
