Mark Reynolds had three hits, including a homer, and J.J. Hardy also went deep as the Baltimore Orioles beat host Washington 7-4 Sunday, halting the Nationals' eight-game winning streak.

Reynolds ripped a pitch from reliever Todd Coffey over the left-field wall for his 13th home run. He added a single and a double to raise his season average to .217, the highest it has been since April 18.

Orioles starter Chris Jakubauskas (2-0) largely kept the Nationals at bay, surrendering three runs on six hits over five innings. He walked one, struck out six and went 2-for-3 at the plate as Baltimore won for just the second time in eight games.

Tom Gorzelanny (2-5) lost his third straight decision, charged with five runs - four earned - on 10 hits in 4 2/3 frames. The Nationals' defense did him no favors, committing three errors to end its longest winning streak since August 2009.

Roger Bernadina belted a solo home run, his third in the past four games, and finished 3-for-4 while rookie Danny Espinosa also went deep for Washington.
