Adrian Beltre and Marco Scutaro homered in a six-run seventh inning as the visiting Boston Red Sox rallied for a 9-6 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night.

The stunning turn of events enabled Red Sox left-hander Jon Lester (15-8) to remain perfect in his career against Baltimore, improving to 13-0 in 16 starts.

Lester was tagged for four runs in the first inning and left after six innings having allowed five runs on eight hits. He struck out 10 and walked two while throwing 120 pitches.

With the Red Sox trailing 5-3, Scutaro tied it with a two-run blast off lefty reliever Mark Hendrickson (1-5). After red-hot Victor Martinez put Boston ahead with an RBI double, Beltre launched a three-run homer - his 24th of the season – off Alfredo Simon to make it 9-5.

J.D. Drew added a solo homer and David Ortiz and Ryan Kalish had RBI doubles as Boston snapped a three-game skid and ended the Orioles' four-game winning streak.

Daniel Bard worked two innings before Jonathan Papelbon finished up for his 34th save.

Adam Jones had a two-run double and Felix Pie an RBI double in Baltimore's four-run first frame.

Lester's dominance of Baltimore is the longest active winning streak for a pitcher against any opponent, and eclipsed the best start in history against the Orioles’ organization.
