Billy Butler's two-run homer off David Hernandez in the eighth inning provided the game-winning blow in the Kansas City Royals' 4-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday
It was the second consecutive night a late homer lifted the Royals to a win after Alex Gordon hit a game-ending three-run shot off Alfredo Simon on Friday.
Butler's 10th homer made a winner out of starter Zack Greinke (7-10), who allowed three runs on seven hits over eight innings.
Joakim Soria pitched a scoreless ninth for his 28th save.
The Royals took a 1-0 lead in the third on Mitch Maier's fourth homer of the season, one of few mistakes by Orioles starter Brad Bergeson, who allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings. Maier added an RBI single in the seventh.
The Orioles broke in front with three runs in the sixth as Nick Markakis hit a two-run double and Adam Jones added an RBI single.
But Hernandez (5-8) allowed a one-out single to Jason Kendall in the eighth, then serving up Butler's homer to left, giving the Royals their 29th comeback victory of the season.
