Miguel Tejada's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning finished off his team's latest comeback as the Baltimore Orioles completed a three-game interleague sweep of the Washington Nationals 4-3 on Sunday.

The win was Baltimore's season-high fourth in a row and capped the club's second series sweep of the year. The Orioles wrapped up interleague play with a 7-11 record.

Entering with just five wins in their previous 26 games, the Orioles showed amazing resiliency against the Nationals, rallying from deficits of six, five and three runs to post victories.

Washington built a 3-0 advantage in the fourth inning on an RBI triple by Josh Willingham and a two-run homer by Roger Bernardina, but Baltimore answered an inning later.

Adam Jones got the Orioles on the board with an RBI double and scored two batters later on Scott Moore's single. Matt Wieters knotted the game when he came home on a throwing error by Washington second baseman Adam Kennedy.

The game remained even until the eighth. Julio Lugo hit a one-out double, but made a costly base-running gaffe by getting picked off second. His mistake became more glaring when Corey Patterson followed with a two-base hit of his own, but Tejada delivered a single off Tyler Clippard (8-5) to plate Patterson with the go-ahead run.

It was Tejada's seventh RBI in his last four games after the veteran drove in just one run in his previous 23 contests.

David Hernandez (3-6) notched the victory after striking out both batters he faced in the eighth and Alfredo Simon worked around a walk in the ninth for his ninth save in 10 opportunities.

Kennedy collected two of the five hits by Washington, which has lost 20 of its last 24 road games and 10 of 12 overall.
