Miguel Sano had two hits, scored two runs and drove in a pair to help lead the Minnesota Twins to a 6-4 victory over the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.

Jorge Polanco also had two hits and two runs scored and Josh Donaldson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for Minnesota, which improved to 4-1 this season against the National League Central Division-leading Brewers.

Caleb Thielbar (6-0) picked up the win with two scoreless innings of one-hit relief while Alex Colome picked up his ninth save.

Jace Peterson had two hits and an RBI for Milwaukee, which has lost three straight games for the first time since July 9-11 against the Cincinnati Reds. The loss also snapped a streak of five consecutive series victories for the Brewers who still maintain a 7 1/2-game lead over second-place Cincinnati.

Milwaukee starter Adrian Hauser (7-6) didn't allow a hit into the fourth inning when he was touched for four runs on three hits, three walks and a hit batter.

Polanco started a streak of five consecutive Twins batters to reach base with a double off the wall in right-center and Donaldson followed with a single. After Max Kepler walked to load the bases, Sano doubled to left-center to drive in Polanco and Donaldson.

Brent Rooker then walked to load the bases again and Hauser got a force at home on a Ryan Jeffers grounder. But Hauser hit Andrelton Simmons with a pitch to force in a run and followed that with a walk to Luis Arraez to make it 4-0 before striking out Byron Buxton to end the inning.

The Brewers came back to tie it in the fifth on RBI singles by Manny Pina and Peterson to chase starter Charlie Barnes. After Willy Adames singled to load the bases, Christian Yelich made it 4-3 with a sacrifice fly to drive in Pina, while Peterson also came around to scored when cutoff man Sano threw wildly past third.

The Twins took a 5-4 lead in the sixth when Simmons grounded into a double play to bring home the run against reliever Brent Suter.

Donaldson made it 6-4 in the seventh with a RBI double into the left field corner.
