Melky Cabrera hit a three-run homer, Starling Marte had three hits and tied a career high with four runs, and the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Colorado Rockies 9-4 on Friday night in Denver.

Josh Bell also had three hits while Kevin Newman, Bryan Reynolds, Colin Moran and Cabrera had two hits each for the Pirates, who continued their domination of the Rockies at Coors Field. Pittsburgh has won 13 of 17 games in Denver dating back to July 27, 2014.

Every position player had at least one hit and starting pitcher Dario Agrazal drove in a run for the Pirates, who have won six of their last eight games.

Agrazal (4-3) allowed three runs on nine hits in five-plus innings. He walked none and struck out two, and he left after giving up two hits to start the bottom of the sixth.

Ian Desmond homered among his three hits, Trevor Story had a double and his 29th homer, and Nolan Arenado also had two hits for Colorado. The Rockies have lost four games in a row, all at home.

Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela (8-9) gave up six runs on 10 hits in five innings. He fanned two and walked one.

The game was delayed 16 minutes at the end of the second inning due to lightning.

Pittsburgh took a 1-0 lead on Moran's RBI single in the first, and Story's homer leading off the bottom of the inning tied it. It is the first time Story has hit a game-opening home run in his career.

The Pirates took a two-run lead on Agrazal's sacrifice fly in the second and Reynolds' RBI double in the fourth, and then they opened it up in the fifth.

Marte singled, Bell walked, and one out later, Cabrera hit his seventh homer into the second deck in right to make it 6-1.

Colorado got single runs in the fifth and sixth before Pittsburgh scored twice on five hits in the seventh off of Carlos Estevez.

Desmond's solo homer in the eighth, his 15th, made it 8-4, and Bell added an RBI single in the ninth.
