Patrick Corbin pitched eight scoreless innings, and Asdrubal Cabrera hit a three-run homer Wednesday as the visiting Washington Nationals stomped the Pittsburgh Pirates 11-1.

Corbin (10-5) gave up three hits, all singles and none after the fifth inning. He struck out four and walked two. Tanner Rainey gave up an RBI double to Pittsburgh's Josh Bell in the ninth to blow the shutout.

Yan Gomes added a two-run double, Anthony Rendon a two-run single, and Adam Eaton and Corbin each had an RBI double for Washington.

Every member of the Washington starting lineup scored at least one run.

The Nationals have won eight of their past games 10 overall and two of the first three in this four-game series. They got their offense back on track after falling 4-1 Tuesday. Before that, they had scored 62 runs in five games.

Pittsburgh starter Joe Musgrove (8-12) pitched five innings, giving up six runs -- five earned -- and seven hits, with one strikeout and two walks.

Washington batted around in the third. Gomes opened with a walk. Corbin hit into a fielder's choice, but there was no out on Musgrove's error, and Gomes went to third. Trea Turner also hit into fielder's choice, with Gomes out at home.

Eaton doubled home Corbin for a 1-0 lead. Rendon followed with a two-run single to push it to 3-0, giving him 100 RBIs. After Juan Soto walked, Cabrera homered to center, his 14th, for a 6-0 cushion.

Against Parker Markel in the eighth, Matt Adams doubled with one out, and Victor Robles walked. They both scored on Gomes' double. Corbin followed with another double, bringing in Gomes to make it 9-0.

With two outs in the ninth, Francisco Liriano walked Robles and Adams and gave up a broken-bat RBI single to pinch hitter Adrian Sanchez to make it 10-0. Jose Osuna moved a short distance from third base to the mound and gave up an RBI single to Turner before getting Eaton to fly out.
