Antonio Senzatela tossed six solid innings Friday night for the Colorado Rockies, and Daniel Murphy continued tormenting his former team by homering during the eventful eighth inning of the Rockies' 5-1 win over the host New York Mets.

The Rockies have won two straight and 10 of 12. The Mets, who began on Friday a stretch of 28 consecutive games against teams that currently possess winning records, had their two-game winning streak snapped and have lost seven of 11.

Senzatela (5-4) allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out none over six innings. He is just the second pitcher this season to toss at least six innings without striking out a batter, joining the Oakland Athletics' Brett Anderson (against the Cincinnati Reds on May 8).

Raimel Tapia (RBI double in the third) and Ian Desmond (RBI single in the fourth) provided all the support necessary for Senzatela, who carried a shutout into the sixth before giving up a one-out homer to Michael Conforto.

The Rockies added three runs in the eighth, when Tapia singled and scored one out later on David Dahl's two-run homer. With two outs, Murphy launched a homer deep into the upper deck in right. Murphy, who played with the Mets from 2008 through 2015, finished 2-for-4 and is now batting .386 with 12 homers and 44 RBIs in 47 games against the Mets as a member of the Rockies, Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals.

Desmond, the next batter, was hit in the middle of the back on a 1-1 pitch from Drew Gagnon. Desmond glared at Gagnon and took a step or two towards the mound as the benches -- led by Murphy -- and bullpens emptied. No punches were thrown, but there were two separate gatherings of the teams milling about along the first-base line. Both teams were issued a warning, and the rest of the game was played without incident.

Dahl and Trevor Story also finished with two hits for the Rockies.

Mets starter Jacob deGrom (3-6) took another hard-luck loss after allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 over six innings. It was the 42nd time in his career deGrom has tossed at least six innings and allowed two runs or fewer yet not earned a win.

Conforto and Dominic Smith had two hits for the Mets.
